Relevant Lifelong Learning To Survive A Recession
Since the beginning of the Covid-19, lifelong learning of the relevant skills and knowledge has become even more important for all of us than before the start of the Covid-19 pandemic.
What Is relevant lifelong learning?
Relevant lifelong learning is a form of self-initiated learning that is focused on relevant personal development given the actual situation. Relevant if you want to keep your currrent job for instance and relevant for you if you want to become a successful entrepreneur or survive a crisis as solopreneur, founder of a startup, director of a scaleup, of an SME or f a family business.
Above all, you need to learn and use the right practical soft- and hard skills in using technology to access, manage, manipulate and create information and relevant knowledge in an ethical and sustainable way if you want to make a positive impact on the lives of your customers and other people around you. And do that ‘just-in-time’ and fast.

Since 2001, when I started making money online from home as a side-hustle as plan-b with ebooks in English (see here), I discovered that
1) most of my corporate social- and hardskills including my corporate ICT-diplomas were irrelevant and that
2) I therefor needed to learn new relevant entrepreneurial soft- and hard skills and fast and
3) I needed to learn new relevant entrepreneurial knowledge and skills continuously if I wanted to survive and thrive: ‘just-in-time’ lifelong learning to survive and thrive in the new normal economy.
So I stopped taking any corporate training and any corporate courses. And I started to learn the right skills and knowledge to become a succesful solopreneur with digital products and services and a lean & mean virtual organisation, pivoting my life and my business.
Covid-19 and the war in Ukraine.
One of the new skills I learned for instance to make money and save money online since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, is scripting and producing short videos. And that is why short video selling & marketing is one of the optional modules in our new The Succesful Solopreneur Program.
